It Started With a Song
America 250 Proof™ is a song written to tell the full story of 250 years of American life — not as a summary, but lyric by lyric, line by line, each phrase a doorway into a real person, a real place, a real moment in the American story.
The song wasn't written to be a game. It was written because the story of America deserves to be told with the same care, depth, and honesty that any great story does. Music just happens to be one of the most powerful ways human beings remember things. Always has been.
Once the song existed, the question became: what do you do with 250 years of history encoded in lyrics? You build a platform that lets people explore it — in classrooms, at museums, at ballparks, at festivals, anywhere Americans gather and want to understand where they came from.
Three Layers. One Mission.
The platform works as three connected layers — each with a distinct job, all pointing at the same goal.
America 250 Proof™ — The Song & The Movement
The origin of everything. The song created the framework — lyric by lyric, every line maps to a historical story, a primary source, a place to visit, and a lesson to learn. The movement is tied to America's 250th Anniversary celebration. america250proof.com →
History Hunt™ — The Educational Platform
The educational core. Built state by state, the platform turns every lyric into an interactive learning experience — elementary through high school, with primary sources, community discovery, and state-specific content. Explore the content →
History Hunt Games™ — The Venue Platform
The game engine that brings it all to life at scale. Sponsors and venues activate History Hunt Games™ at ballparks, festivals, museums, and events — using the same educational content, delivered as QR-driven, badge-earning games that anyone can play without downloading an app. You're here.
Built State by State. Territory by Territory.
History Hunt's first live state edition covers New Mexico — from Santa Fe's colonial capital to Trinity Site and the Long Walk of the Navajo. Every state and territory gets its own anchor stories, primary sources, local landmarks, and educational standards alignment.

The Game Platform
History Hunt Games™ is a reusable, data-driven game engine. New campaigns, venues, sponsors, games, questions, badges, and rewards are added through data — not custom code. The same engine that ran Freedom Fest Jacksonville can run Fenway Park, the Music City Grand Prix, or a museum in Albuquerque.
Players scan a QR code, register with a first name and phone number, answer 10 history questions tied to song lyrics, earn a badge, and share their score. No app download. No account required. Works on any smartphone.
For venues and sponsors, activation is free. The platform handles registration, gameplay, scoring, badges, rewards, and reporting. You bring the crowd. We bring the history.
